Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend have now officially announced the release of their upcoming album Modern Vampires of the City. On May 6th it will be available for buying although it's already possible to pre-order it on iTunes store. They already released a double A-side single, Diane Young / Step. Teddybears

Finally the spring has arrived to Gothenburg which means that your are finally allowed to wear your sneakers combined with the bomber jacket (even though I have been wearing it throughout the whole winter). The feeling of walking down the street with the sun warming all of your body and listen to Teddybears Sthlm's (today more known as Teddybears) Rock 'n' Roll Highschool feat. Thomas Rusiak at the maximum volume is indescribable.

Teddybears is a band from Sweden consisting of Patrik Arve, Joakim Åhlund and Klas Åhlund. They are known for mixing many different genres such as electronic, rock, hip-hop, pop etc.

I am so excited right now! I just stumbled over a teaser video for a new album by one of my all time favorite bands, Empire of the sun. Here is a new remix by the talented dutch DJ Nicky Romero. Not a big fan of the intro, however the part after about 30 seconds in this snippet is massive!
 

Nicky Romero gained popularity during 2012 when he released the track "Toulouse" and later on with one of my favorite club tracks of 2012, "Metropolis" which he produced in collaboration with David Guetta.
